Roof problem leads to dry rot in exterior siding and trim.

If your roof is leaking, even slightly, the problem will only get worse with time.
Sometimes it will be in the attic area, causing insulation and drywall problems. This can lead to mold, mildew, water damage or more. Other times the leak effects the exterior of the home. This can include siding, trim, and doors.
In the photo here, water got between the roof and siding above and ran down and behind the siding below.
